MOBA Pave-IR Thermal Monitor Paver Components – Paving Operand, MTPS-100 & More
This is a used collection of MOBA (Mobile Automation) PaveIR components. This system is used for advanced paving environments where the temperature of the asphalt being laid must be monitored, typically on roadways and other areas that see high traffic. I have no idea on the history of the unit as I obtained it from government surplus, but I did my best to test the equipment to power-on and run a couple of self-tests based on a video I found posted on the internet.

All components are in good condition with scuffs, scratches, marks and wear from normal use, storage and transport. The heart of the unit is the Moba Operand Display (05-55-50001) which also doubles as the control panel. The display has several inputs on it that connect to the other components. It has a RAM Ball Mount on the back of it that can be used for mounting. The MTPS-100 Thermal Monitor has an infrared scanner reader that moves back and forth to monitor the temperature of the asphalt. A GNSS antenna is included for satellite location tracking and a distance encoder is also included. A rugged Pelican case with a retractable handle and wheels on it for easy transport stores everything safely.
